Information We Collect: Registered Profiles

If you sign up for an Author profile page, we collect the information you provide when you register and when you use our website to administer the content of your profile page. This includes:
  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Primary Affiliation/Institution
  • Your photo
  • Your CV / Bio
  • Your medical specialty
  • Publications Authored
  • Work Experience
  • Education Experience
Your email address is not shared with any other parties, and is used as a means to contact you and send authorized email messages to you.

The other information listed above is used by PubFacts to display on your profile page to other website visitors. We do not share or sell your information with any other parties.

All personal information we have for registered author profiles is available within that author's profile administration page, but if you wish to have a record of all data on file for their profile, you may do so by logging into your account, clicking settings, and enter the request into the "Need Help?" submission field.

You can delete all entered profile information at any time by logging into your account, clicking settings, and pressing "Delete Account Page". All provided information will be completely removed from our website and database.

Log Files

As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files. The information in the log files include your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or Shaw Cable), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.
