Cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury (AKI) is associated with high morbidity and mortality worldwide, but the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. Downstream-of-kinase 3 (Dok3), a member of the Dok family of adaptor proteins plays a critical role in inflammatory response and immune regulation; however, the role of Dok3 in cisplatin-induced AKI remains unclear.
