Nasal desmopressin (DDAVP) is a commonly prescribed antidiuretic hormone (ADH) analogue used for treatment of diabetes insipidus, polyuria and nocturnal enuresis. Although it is generally well tolerated, it can cause severe electrolyte imbalance.
