Physiological anticipatory activity preceding seemingly unpredictable stimuli:

This is a new meta-analysis of all studies completed from 2008 to June 2018 describing a total of 27 experiments and 36 associated effect sizes.

It confirms the results obtained with the previous meta-analyses by Mossbridge et al. 2012, which comprised 26 studies published between 1978 and 2010.
