Physical and Chemical Parameters' Variations in Surface Water of Wami River, Tanzania

Overview

This paper examines if there is any variation in the measure of the different physical and chemical parameters of the surface water of Wami-River in Tanzania. It is an output of a study carried out by IFS Team AMKID, which was sponsored by International Foundation for Science - IFS (2015-2018). As we all know that studying physico-chemical parameters is very important in the conservation of biodiversity of the world. Consequently, this article is part of the outcome of the IFS sponsored project study on the analysis of the spatial and temporal variations of the physico-chemical parameter of three major African wetlands namely River Niger, Lake Volta and Wami-River.

Summary

Studying physico-chemical parameters is very important in the conservation of biodiversity of the world. Any alteration in any of the components of the physical and chemical qualities of water, air or soil is a good indicator of disturbance in that environment.
