Ethnopharmacological Relevance: A Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula (VYAC) consists of three herbs including Viola yedoensis Makino, herb (Violaceae, Viola), Sophora flavescens Aiton, root (Fabaceae, Sophora) and Dictamnus dasycarpus Turcz, root and rhizome (Rutaceae, Dictamnus), has been traditionally prescribed to treat various skin diseases in clinic.Aim Of The Study: This study aims to investigate the therapeutic effects of VYAC on the 2,4-dinitrobenzene (DNCB) induced atopic dermatitis (AD)-like mice and to explore the underlying mechanisms.Materials And Methods: VYAC was extracted with 70 % aqueous ethanol and lyophilized powder was used. Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a common chronic respiratory disease. Asarum heterotropoides (AH) is predicted to be a treatment for allergic diseases, but its therapeutic effect is unclear. We aimed to determine the anti-allergic effects of AH in mice with ovalbumin (OVA)-induced AR. Read More

Background: While large-scale genomic analyses symbolize a precious attempt to decipher the molecular foundation of uterine leiomyosarcoma (ULMS), bioinformatics results associated with the occurrence of ULMS based totally on WGCNA and CIBERSORT have not yet been reported. This study aimed to screen the hub genes and the immune cell infiltration pattern in ULMS by bioinformatics methods. Methods: Firstly, the GSE67463 dataset, including 25 ULMS tissues and 29 normal myometrium (NL) tissues, was downloaded from the public database. We investigated the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effects of Yiqi Jiemin decoction (YJD), a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), in the ovalbumin (OVA)-induced allergic rhinitis (AR) model in guinea pigs. YJD significantly decreased infiltration of mast cells and eosinophils into the nasal mucosa of AR model guinea pigs. YJD also increased expression of TGF-β in the nasal mucosa, restored the balance of Th1/Th2 immune cell responses, and decreased serum levels of various pro-inflammatory mediators, including histamine (HA), neuropeptide Y (NPY), acetylcholine (ACH), norepinephrine and immunoglobulin E (IgE). Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Fritillariae thunbergii Bulbus (FT), knowns as "Jeolpaemo ()" in Korean traditional medicine, is a perennial plant belonging to the Liliaceae family and has been used to treat symptoms such as cough, sputum formation, and purulent pneumonia. Owing to its effects of lowering heat, removing sputum, and reducing swelling, the plant has also been used as an external prescription medicine to treat inflammation.Aim Of The Study: To analyze the anti-inflammatory effects of FT-ethanol extract (FT-Et) and FT-chloroform fraction extract (FT-Cl) on 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene (DNCB)-induced atopic dermatitis (AD) in vivo and in vitro.
