Background and aim Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) has revolutionized the management of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). The re-intervention rate following EVAR has been a subject of debate in many studies. The study aims to evaluate the short-term outcomes in terms of the early (four-year) re-intervention rate following EVAR at our centre and compare it to the average re-intervention rate of the main studies assessed by the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Background: Left ventricular assist devices (LVADs) are artificial pumps used in end-stage heart failure to support the circulatory system. These cardiac assist devices work in parallel to the heart, diverting blood from the left ventricle through an outflow graft and into the ascending aorta. LVADs have allowed patients with end-stage heart failure to live longer and with improved quality of life compared to best medical therapy alone. Read More

Background: As the number of donation after circulatory death(DCD) liver transplants(LTs) performed in the United States continues to increase annually, there has been interest by policy makers to develop a more robust exception point safety net for patients who develop ischemic cholangiopathy(IC) following DCD LT. As such, there is a need for better understanding of the clinical course and long-term outcomes in patients who develop IC, as well as determining if IC can be classified into distinct categories with distinctly different clinical outcomes. Methods: All DCD LT performed at Mayo Clinic-Florida, Mayo Clinic-Arizona and Mayo Clinic-Rochester from 1/1999-3/2020 were included(N=770).
