Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the expression of tenascin-C and matrilin-2 in three different disorders, which frequently require corneal transplantation. These pathological conditions include bullous keratopathy (BK), Fuchs' endothelial corneal dystrophy (FECD), and corneal scarring in herpetic keratitis.

The objective of this paper is to compare the visual outcomes and quality of life (QoL) after bilateral ultrathin Descemet's stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (UT-DSAEK) with bilateral penetrating keratoplasty (PK) for Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy (FED). Purpose: To report a multi-disease deep-learning diagnostic network (MDDN) of common corneal diseases: dry eye syndrome (DES), Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy (FED), and keratoconus (KCN) using anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) images.

Study Design: Development of a deep learning neural network diagnosis algorithm METHODS: A total of 158,220 AS-OCT images from 879 eyes of 478 subjects were used to develop and validate a classification deep network. Purpose: To compare quality of vision and vision-related quality of life (QOL) in patients undergoing Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) or ultrathin Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK).

Methods: Fifty-four eyes of 54 patients with Fuchs' dystrophy from six corneal clinics in the Netherlands were randomized to DMEK or ultrathin DSAEK and examined preoperatively, and 3, 6 and 12 months postoperatively.
