Hypouricemia in kidney transplant (KT) recipients is rare since they usually have subnormal kidney function which raises serum uric acid level. Recently, interests in pathogenesis of hypouricemia have been increasing due to the understanding of the role of uric acid transporter in renal hypouricemia (RHUC). Psychic considerations about the debt in transplantation with living donnor. This article describes the most typical forms of debt and their associated processes, as experienced by patients receiving organs from living donors: economical debt, where the gift is experienced as a merchandize; emotional debt and its associated processes of giving back; and symbolic debt, with its potential life changing effect. These debts can either result in negative consequences and life threatening behaviors, or can be accepted and transformed, depending on the patients conscious and unconscious expectations of the gift and its associated impact on their relationship.
