During the 2020-2021 Florida strawberry season (October to April), strawberry () plants showing leaf spots were observed on samples submitted to the Diagnostic Clinic at the University of Florida's Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. Disease incidence was up to 5% and observed on four different farms in Plant City, FL on cultivars Sensation Florida127 and Florida Brilliance.
