Arezoo Bagheri is associate professor of statistical methods and population modeling research group at the National Population Studies & Comprehensive Management Institute since October 2013. She has published more than 50 articles in different fields of demography. Her PhD degree is in applied statistics from the Mathematical Institute, University Putra Malaysia (INSPEM), Malaysia. The title of her thesis titled “Robust Estimation Methods and Robust Multicollinearity Diagnostics for Multiple Regression Model in the Presence of High Leverage Collinearity-Influential Observations”. She was a top student in her Master’s in Shahid Chamran University (Ahwaz city) and the best scholar in Mathematical Institute in University Putra Malaysia (INSPEM) in 2012.
Dr Arezoo Bagheri was environmental statistics expert in environment, mining and industrial statistics office in the Statistical Center of Iran (SCI). Some of her other experiences during her 8 years of working in SCI is being a member of different commissions in censuses, and definitions and implications of statistical standards, implementing whole procedures of research projects such as designing questionnaires, providing manuals of executing surveys, extracting tables of results, imputing questionnaire elements, teaching and monitoring the statistical surveys.
She has taught applied statistics to students of different levels and fields in the public and private universities such as Tehran University.
