Introduction

Graduated from Nagoya University School of Medicine in 1971. After training of internal medicine, I visted to Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Creighton University, Omaha, NE, USA as a postdoctral fellow for over 2 years under Dr. D. F. Magee.
Then returned to Japan, I studied pancreatology at Nagoya University School of Medicine.
From 1979, I worked at the Research Center of Health, Physical Fitness and Sports, as a research associate, studied gastroenterology and sports. Promoted to Professor in 1994, and retired in 2010, became Professor Emeritus.
From 2010, I worked as a Professor at Chubu University, in 2017 became a Designated Professor.
