Well-versed with invasive pulmonary procedures such as fibreoptic and video-bronchoscopies, pleural biopsies, pleural aspirations, etc.

Well-experienced in performing invasive bronchoscopic procedures such as bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), transbronchial lung biopsies (TBLB), transbronchial hilar and subcarinal lymph node biopsies and bronchial brushings.

Well-experienced in the use of laser therapy, cold cautery and electrosurgical knife in the treatment of endobronchial tumours.

Other interests include Pulmonary Function Testing and Sleep studies.

Publications: In peer-reviewed international medical journals such as The Lancet , Archives of Internal Medicine, Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, Australian Family Physician and Canadian Family Physician, amongst others.
Written a chapter on " Diagnosis in Lung Cancer " for an American textbook on Asbestosis which was published by Butterworths.

Current research interests include Long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT) in COPD patients, Early Diagnostic Procedures in Bronchogenic Carcinoma, Drug-resistant Pulmonary and Extra-Pulmonary Tuberculosis and treatment of Interstitial Lung Disease.
