Introduction

I have been working in academia for the last 16 years (2003 – till date). After finishing my undergrad (1993 – 1997) and MS in Microbiology (1998 – 1999) from the University of Dhaka, I worked in GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as MICROBIOLOGIST for more than three years. I conducted another MS in Molecular Biology (Oct. 2003 – March 2006) in Yamaguchi University, Japan leading to my Ph.D program in the same University (April 2006 – March 2009). I was appointed as a POST DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW in the same University from April 2009. After one year completion of my Post Doctorate on Systems Biology, I worked in Stamford University Bangladesh as the DEPARTMENTAL HEAD of Microbiology for eight and half years (May 2010 - Sept 2, 2018). Currently I'm in IUB as an Associate Professor (Sept 3 - present).
