Introduction

Dra. Collado works in the Department of Rheumatology at the Hospital Universitario Severo Ochoa in Madrid (Spain). Over the last two decades, she has been working as a consultant physician in the Pediatric Rheumatology Unit at the same facility and she is currently in charge of the Adolescent Outpatient Clinic. She started her training in Pediatric Rheumatology in 1994 with Dr. T.J.A. Lehman’s supervision at the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology Arthritis and Related Conditions of Children and Young Adults, at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Cornell University Medical College, New York, USA. She has started to perform musculoskeletal ultrasound on adults and the pediatric population from 1999 and 2002 respectively. She usually performs musculoskeletal ultrasound in her daily clinical practice. She has become a professor in Immunology and Rheumatology at Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio in 2010.
