Dr. Panteleimon E. Papakonstantinou, MD, PhD graduated from the Medical School, University of Crete (UOC), Greece in 2013. He was Internal Medicine Resident for two years (as a part of cardiology residency program) and clinical research coordinator at the Internal Medicine Department, University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete, Greece. He has already completed his Ph.D. at the Cardiology Department, School of Medicine, UOC. During the last year (2018) he was Cardiology Resident at the 2nd Cardiology Department, Naval and Veterans Hospital of Athens, Greece. He is currently Clinical Research Fellow at the Hypertension Unit "ESH Excellence Centre", 1st Cardiology Department, Medical School, University of Athens, Greece (Head: Prof. K. Tsioufis). His research interest focuses on the study of cardiac arrhythmias, especially of AF and resistant hypertension.
