Currently holds a tenured academic position at the School of Biological Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and is affiliated with Vector Control Research Unit (USM), California Academy of Sciences (San Francisco) and Young Scientist Network (Academy Sains Malaysia). The main research interest is on vector mosquitoes and its role/relation into epidemiology of disease transmission, mosquito-microbiome and novel mosquito control strategies such as sugar bait technology and odor mediated nectar-foraging for mosquito-borne disease particularly Dengue.
