Introduction

Dr Muhammad Atif Mansha is an emerging Radiation Oncologist from Pakistan. Dr Mansha received his basic medical education from one of the most prestigious institutes in the country, Dow Medical College. He joined The Aga Khan University's Radiation Oncology Residency program in 2014 and currently working as Chief Resident in the department of radiation oncology. During residency training, he appeared in post graduate exam conducted by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan and satisfied the board of examiners and was awarded Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons in the discipline of Radiotherapy. Prior to joining The Aga Khan University, he got Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG) certification from United States of America.

He is not only a passionate learner, but also and a proactive participant in various research projects of the radiation oncology department. He is a keen researcher and an essential member of research team and takes the lead from residents’ side. He has multiple travel grants under his belt that shows acknowledgement of his hard work and eagerness to stay updated in the constant evolving field of oncology. In addition to this, he has presented clinical cases in national conferences and workshops.

Dr Mansha is the main coordinator of Oncology Learners Forum Monthly Refresher and he is managing the managerial skill development contents of AKU,s Rad Onc Self Study Plan. He has identified Structured Management Learning Resource as his additional learning objective. Mansha along with his team has actively organized various educational workshops on Radiation Treatment Planning and is committed towards educational activities at national level. He enjoys a good reputation among colleagues, nationwide.
