Sociodemographic characteristics in diabetic patients of the diabetes clinic of a General Hospital in Puebla

 

Purpose: The present study is to describe the sociodemographic characteristics in the users of a diabetes clinic in the city of Puebla to know the factors that condition the glycemic decontrol of the user with diabetes mellitus 2.

 

Method: It is an instrument for the collection of sociodemographic data by (Hidalgo, 2015) with a convenience sample of 145 users, in order to obtain the information of interest. to laboratory and cabinet studies of the last 6 months.

 

Results: Of the total users, 73.1% were female, the average age was 60 years ±; 66.9% had primary studies, as far as marital status is concerned, 66.2% of our users are married, Puebla occupies the first place with 85.5% in the place of origin, on the other hand, there is a prevalence 40% of users with overweight, 70.3% get something familiar and suffer from a chronic degenerative disease, being the direct relationship with parents with 51%, the second most common disease systemic hypertension systemic hypertension with 15.1%. With respect to laboratories, 40.6% of users have more than six months without study data, 65.5% of users do not have good glycemic control, 77.9% have a lack of control in HbA1c , 8.

 

Conclusion: Even with federal efforts to control diabetes the results of this study provide patient care. The impact it has on the quality of life of the people who pad the results in a priority area for the health sector.

 Propósito: El presente estudio es describir las características sociodemográficas en los usuarios de una clínica de diabetes en la ciudad de Puebla para conocer los factores que condicionan el control glucémico del usuario con diabetes mellitus 2.

 

Método: Es un instrumento para la recopilación de datos sociodemográficos por (Hidalgo, 2015) con una muestra de conveniencia de 145 usuarios, a fin de obtener la información de interés. A estudios de laboratorio y gabinete de los últimos 6 meses.

 

Resultados: Del total de usuarios, 73.1% eran mujeres, la edad promedio era de 60 años ±; El 66.9% tenía estudios primarios, en lo que respecta al estado civil, el 66.2% de nuestros usuarios están casados, Puebla ocupa el primer lugar con 85.5% en el lugar de origen, por otro lado, hay una prevalencia del 40% de los usuarios con con sobrepeso, el 70,3% tiene algo familiar y padece una enfermedad degenerativa crónica, siendo la relación directa con los padres el 51%, la segunda enfermedad más común, la hipertensión sistémica, la hipertensión sistémica con el 15,1%. Con respecto a los laboratorios, el 40.6% de los usuarios tienen más de seis meses sin datos de estudio, el 65.5% de los usuarios no tienen un buen control glucémico, el 77.9% no tiene control en la HbA1c, 8.

 

Conclusión: Incluso con los esfuerzos federales para controlar la diabetes, los resultados de este estudio brindan atención al paciente. El impacto que tiene en la calidad de vida de las personas que rellenan los resultados en un área prioritaria para el sector de la salud.
