Introduction

Mr Long Le is a Research Fellow at Deakin Health Economics, Centre of Population Health Research in the Faculty of Health at Deakin University. Mr Le has submitted his PhD thesis at Deakin University, focusing on developing economic modelling for preventive and treatment interventions for eating disorders. Mr Le also involved in a number of economic evaluation projects such as ‘evaluating the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of online self-help to prevent mental health in young people (LINK project)’; ‘the cost of illness study for mental disorders’ and ‘evaluating economic benefit of Fingolimod in treatment of multiple sclerosis’. Mr Le continues working on different economic evaluation projects that enhance translation of evidence into practice in health care, especially in mental health care. Mr Le is also an external scientific writer for Joanna Briggs Institute. He has been involved in teaching for various subjects including Health Economics, Economic Evaluation and Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Deakin University and Monash University. Mr Le completed dual-Master qualifications including Master of Public Health and Master of Health and Services Management at Deakin University and Bachelor of Pharmacy at University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam.
