Biography
Laila Abou-Zeid got her Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in April 1995 after receiving a Pre-doctoral Scholarship for Ph.D. at Medical College of Georgia, USA; according to the Joint Supervision Program.
- She has been worked as Research Scientist at Department of Biochemistry, Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, USA in the period 1997-2000. In the period of 2005-2007 she worked as Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia

Now she is a member in Research project funded from Mansoura University.
She has her research interest in the topic of designing and synthesis series of novel leads as selective telomerase inhibitors, the hallmark of cancer.
- She contributed in the scientific research by 40 international publications
