Dr. Kuldeep Singh is trained and experienced organic chemist. Before joining MMU, he worked as an Assistant Professor at JUIT, Research Scientist at S. A. Pharma Ltd Pune and as a Post-Doctoral Scientist at Laboratory of bio-organic chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Strasbourg, France. During post-doctoral training, his research work was focused on 5HT7 antagonists. He finished his doctorate degree from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India where he worked on the development of new synthetic methodologies for the synthesis of heterocycles and carbocycles. He has published in top tier peer review journals in the field of chemistry that include Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Tetrahedron Letters, Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, and European Journal of Organic Chemistry. His current research interests are the development of new synthetic methodologies, natural product like libraries and ?-lactamase Inhibitors.
He is a member of Royal Society of Chemistry UK, IUPAC, Chemical Research Society of India, Association of Chemistry Teachers Mumbai, Indian Science Congress Association and Green Chemistry Network.
