Introduction

Julio-Cesar de la Torre-Montero, Ph.D., MSN, CNS, BSN, RN (Salamanca University, Complutense University of Madrid, Spain).
Since 2014, he teaches Oncologic Nursing Care and Palliative Care along with Ethic and Research Methodology at Comillas Pontifical University. Before starting his full-time teaching in college, he worked at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid, Spain, is an active researcher in clinical trials. His clinical experience in the onco-haematological field spans over more than twenty years. In Europe, he has worked in primary care, implementing health education programs (Skeletal Care Academy) for patients, in order to improve their quality of life and to promote a healthy lifestyle. Overseas, he has designed and implemented Health Programs in Africa.
