Dr. Hussein H Aly is a Senior Research Scientist in the department of virology two, National Institute of Infectious Diseases, Japan. He took his PhD in Medical Science from Kyoto University, Graduate School of Medicine, Japan, and his Medical Doctor degree from Cairo University, Faculty of Medicine. As a clinician he worked as hepatologist is the National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute, in Cairo Egypt, and from there he started his study on viral hepatitis focusing on the virus/host interaction in both clinical and molecular levels. He is acting as a peer reviewer in several international journals, and member in several societies, like the Japanese Society of Virology, Japanese Society of Hepatology, and Japanese Society of Molecular Biology.
