Dr. Eran Zittan, is a Gastroenterologist, who is the head of the IBD unit in Emek Medical Center. Between 2013-2015 Dr. Zittan had completed his postdoctoral fellowship in advanced IBD in Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. In 2016, Dr. Zittan established the new IBD center of exelence in Emek Medical Center. His team provides an uniqe multidiciplinarry approch and treatment to the IBD populatiion in the north of Israel.
In 2017, Dr. Zittan had been started his Ph.D project in University of Haifa.
Dr. Zittan had been mainly interested in Endoscopic and clinical scores, Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM), Predictors of response to adalimumab in luminal Crohn’s disease (CD) that were published in leading peer review journals in the IBD field such as JCC and IBD journal. In addition, recently he had been involved in researches which were focus on disease activity and therapeutic drug monitoring in IBD.
