Dr. Goddard is the Director of Medical Services for 13 SBHCs across 5 school districts in Southeastern Connecticut. She currently runs the clinical and programmatic operations for the medical services department at Child and Family Agency. She is the project manager and team-lead for several internal, regional, state, and national initiatives: and served as program champion for her SBHC program as part of the NQI CoIIN Initiative 1.0 and the SBIRTs-in-SBHCs Clinical Implementation Grant through the School Based Health Alliance. Goddard leads multiple Quality Improvement processes at Child and Family Agency in conjunction with the Connecticut Department of Public Health Asthma Program and the Connecticut Association of School-Based Health Centers. She has served in leadership capacity in a variety of roles including Expert Faculty for the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, Expert Reviewer for Lippincott Nursing publications, and Adjunct Faculty at different Schools of Nursing. She regularly serves as peer-review for the Journal of Pediatric Health Care and Pediatric Nursing. Goddard holds multiple publications in the peer-reviewed literature, book chapters, and consumer publications and has presented on a variety of topics including Quality Improvement in healthcare and nursing.

Dr. Goddard received her Doctorate from Vanderbilt University, Masters of Science in Nursing from Yale University, and her Bachelors of Science in Biology/Pre-med from Westminster College. She has worked as a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for over 15 years with more than half in School-Based Health Care and Leadership roles.
