Sujayev Afsun is Doctor of Chemical Sciences, head of “Theoretical bases of the synthesis and action mechanism of additives” laboratory of Institute of Chemistry of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. 2013 – now, member of Young Scientist and Specialist Counsil of ANAS; 2017, Associate professor of ANAS; 2018, academic degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences; 2008, 2014, Guest Investigator at Middle East Technical University (Turkey, Ankara); 2015, Guest Investigator at Istanbul Technical University (Turkey, Istanbul); 2016, Guest Investigator at Ataturk University (Turkey, Erzurum); Ph.D in Organic chemistry of ICA (ANAS); 2001-2003, Master Degree in Baku State Universty (Azerbaijan, Baku). 2018-now, head of “Fine organic synthesis” laboratory of Institute of Chemistry of Additives (ICA); tutor of 3 PhD students among; correlator of 4 master degree thesis; Coordinator and participant of the following financed scientific projects: 2015, Computer synthesis of biologically active substances involved against in pathological processes and their impact on immune systems in living organisms (SDF-Azerbaijan); 2014, To create new, combined effective antioxidants that significantly increase oil properties (SOCAR Science Foundation), 2017-2020, research of the scientific program of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences titled "Synthesis and study of physiological active compounds” (ANAS); 2018-2020 research of the project “Synthesis and chemical modification of biologically active compounds and the creation on their basis of biologically active additives and drugs”. 2014-now, Member of the Editorial Boards of “Young scientist”. 2018-now, reviewing of “Bio-organic chemistry”.
